2022 descriptions

The 2022 work in progress page is being updated. Please submit any outstanding descriptions/photos as soon as possible. For records marked NDR (no description received) we don't have any documentation.
Descriptions often concentrate on the circumstances around the finding of a bird. Although this is interesting and gives context, a description should primarily say why the bird is the species being claimed, and why it is not another similar species. Photos/videoes/sound recordings are very helpful for backing up a record. We will use such evidence off the Internet but a description from the finder is always preferable as it enables us to confirm details like dates/observers etc. An unusual records form can be downloaded from the BOC website.
