| 15:30 | male. Whilst driving along the lane to the parking spot by the railway, became aware of small bird of prey carrying prey item not much smaller than itself. Landed in field about 40m away but disturbed when I parked up and circled about before flying off NE. Prey item showed a lot of white and may have been a Lapwing but made its escape whilst I was identifying the predator. | |||
