juv. Watched it chasing a Lapwing over the workings. Every time it got close, the Lapwing would evade the talons with a quick change of direction. Lost sight of it after 4 attempts in about 5 minutes. 30 mins later I saw it flying east with something dark in its talons (Jackdaw?). Once back on the path by CLN I could see the Peregrine on the top of the pylon south of Horseshoe Lake, where it was feeding on its catch.

juv. Same bird as seen in Oct and Nov. Has pale patches on the back of the head. Watched it for more than 30 mins, much of this time perched on the trees along the north of the workings. Please only view from the public footpath.
