| 13:13 | Immediately south of control tower on southern edge of common. Initially seen on the ground near 3 Stonechats in an area of cleared gorse near the southernmost footpath. Moved east over 30min period being monitored by the chats, a Reed Bunt and Blue/Great Tits. Eventually seemed to go for cover in gorse where I got a record shot. (A very elusive bird which I did not see after 13:45, giving up the search at 18:00). Please keep to the main paths. | |||
