Initially seen on E.edge,then flew to just W.of second beach.The large yellow dagger bill was a bit of a giveaway on an all white Grey Heron sized bird.

Driving west along Vastern Road, by Railway station, saw large egret flying SW over road low enough for me to see yellow bill and black feet. Still visible when I turned south on IDR. Then seen again after railway bridge being Mobbed by Herring gull which was obviously smaller.

first seen flying south down the Thames just north of Cleeve Lock at a height of about 40ft, then seen on the ground by the marina at Cleeve Court at 18-33. It was gone when I returned shortly to photograph it. Grey Heron size, all yellow bill and all dark legs and feet all noted - first for Streatley.
