As the old adage goes... if you see 1 or 2 crows in a tree, they're carrion crows... but if you see 31 or 32 crows in a tree then THOSE are rooks (or jackdaws). Unless you're in Bracknell this morning... in which case they're carrion crows. Never seen so many in one tree before.
