Adult found dead on doorstep 30 minutes after I got home, (so happened in subsequent half hour). Unsure if predator attack (no injuries to be seen), collided with window (no blood at beak etc) or just perished after our first frosty night. . SU881847.

A strange one this: possibly a Goldcrest/Firecrest hybrid! In conifer by obliesk. Sounded like a Firecrest and had the bright orange back and crown stripe of one, but had the face and the tame behaviour of a Goldcrest. A bit odd!
