| 16:44 | 2 adults and 3 well grown juveniles on edge of scrape. Suspect total of 7 chicks in two broods. Adults doing a grand job of mobbing anything with wings included a pair of surprised stock doves innocently passing through. | |||

| 10:00 | Flying noisily around, mainly over the wetland area to which some of them returned. No sign of any of the chicks previously reported. Predation possible, with crows and red kites patrolling the area as usual and previous reports of foxes by the railway embankment. | |||
