| 09:40 | About a dozen mistle thrushes fled a berry-laden holly tree in the Water Garden at Cliveden, as a sparrowhawk approached at high speed. The thrushes flew away with the sparrowhawk in hot pursuit. | |||

| 09:40 | I was the first person into the Water Garden at opening time. I saw a minimum of five mistle thrushes, but they were everywhere. My guess is that there were ten to thirty birds, as I kept seeing groups of them. They all disappeared within thirty minutes, as more people arrived. | |||
